Soluble fibre / Gum - Robinia pseudoacacia

Acacia gum (also known as gum arabic) is a plant-based fiber extracted from the sap of the Senegal acacia tree. In addition to being an excellent source of water-soluble fiber, it is often used as a natural binding agent to hold ingredients together. As a plant-derived substance, acacia gum is suitable for vegans and is gluten-free.

Stem extract - Ananas comosus

Pineapple contains bromelain, which is known for its properties on digestion. This enzyme helps to fight against many intestinal disorders by fixing itself directly on the intestinal mucous membranes in order to prevent bacteria from settling there. On the other hand, the dietary fibers found in the fruit, and in particular the cellulose, give pineapple the power to promote digestion. By acting thus for the digestive comfort, the fruit helps to prevent the problems of constipation.

Kaolin

Kaolin is a natural clay mineral that is composed of aluminum silicates and can come in different colors. Green clay is the richest in minerals and trace elements essential for the skin. The minerals it contains act to purify and detoxify the skin and are essential to remineralize and nourish it in depth. Its structure allows green clay to be ultra absorbent and to gently eliminate excess sebum. Its purifying action will tighten pores, and even the complexion for fresher,more radiant skin.

Substance found in various nuts, beans, seeds, fruits and vegetables. It is also used in dietary supplements. Beta-sitosterol may lower blood cholesterol concentrations by reducing the amount absorbed from food.

Citral is a perfume agent among the 26 allergens regulated by Europe. It is present in large quantities in lemongrass oil, but also in the essential oils of verbena, orange, lemon ... It is used as an aromatic component in cosmetics for its lemon scents. It consists of a mixture of the two geometric isomers, geranial and neral.

Extract - Cucumis sativus fruit water

The cosmetic properties of cucumber have been known for several hundred years. Indeed, it is rich in active ingredients (vitamin B9, vitamin C, enzymes) that regulate the normal functions of the skin and restore its water balance. It illuminates dull skin, boosts the growth and multiplication of skin cells. It also has purifying, refreshing and astringent properties. It helps regulate the production of sebum. The enzymes it contains inhibit the production of melanin and thus fight against pigmentation spots.

Flower extract - Calendula officinalis

Native to the Mediterranean basin, Calendula officinalis or "marigold" is a herbaceous plant used in many skin care products and herbal preparations.  Each calendula petal contains five components - oleanolic acid, lupeol, quercetin and a-amyrin and ß-amyrin. These effective components have been studied and shown to have soothing, antioxidant protection and skin soothing properties. Calendula also stimulates collagen production by fibroblasts.

Acid tricarboxylic is abundant in plants, particularly citrus fruits. It is used as an antioxidant in food.

Vegan low molecular weight - Sodium hyaluronate

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule able to retain 1000 times its own weight in water. Naturally present in the skin, it plays an essential role in the skin’s structure. Its low molecular weight allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin’s structure, providing maximum below-the-surface hydration and in turn rehydrating skin cells over time. Because of its ability to draw and hold water, it will improve skin elasticity making the skin appear more supple and youthful.

Seed oil - Cannabis sativa seed oil

Obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds, hemp oil is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) and vitamin E, which give it excellent anti-oxidant properties. Highly anti-inflammatory, hemp oil is ideal for soothing sensitive or tired skin.

Cetearyl Alcohol is an emulsifier of natural and vegetable origin, composed of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol, both derived from wheat and coconut oil. It appears as a white solid, in granules or flakes, with a waxy consistency and is identified in the INCI as Cetearyl Alcohol.

Powder - Chlorella vulgaris

Chlorella is a detoxifying algae for the body, because of its chlorophyll content, but also because of its vitamins (C and E). In fact, during the studies conducted, the consumption of this algae has reduced the level of toxins present in the body of patients. The great diversity of nutrients present in chlorella alone explains the detoxifying and antioxidant virtues of this freshwater algae. Consuming it in the form of cures helps to eliminate toxins, waste and free radicals accumulated by the body.

Cetyl alcohol is a co-emulsifier and emollient that helps stabilize and blend ingredients in cosmetic formulations such as lotions, serums and facial creams. Sourced from palm oil, it is an effective and sustainable alternative.

Extract - Palmaria palmata

Palmaria palmata, also called dulse, is a red algae that grows on the northern coasts of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It is a rich source of vitamin A and B12 as well as polysaccharides. It instantly increases the skin’s micro-circulation while preventing the formation of new blood vessels which reduces redness and inflammation.

Tetradecanol

Myristic alcohol or tetradecanol is a fatty alcohol used in cosmetics as an emollient (helps water and oil to mix). It is produced from coconut, palm kernel or nutmeg oil. Myristic alcohol is allowed in organic.

Corn starch is a fine, soft powder obtained from the dried kernels of the corn cob, this ingredient is mostly used in cosmetics and cooking, most often as a thickener. It absorbs excess oil, more than any other flour, and leaves a silky texture on the skin.

Fruit extract - Withania somnifera L.

Ashwagandha is the flagship herb of Ayurveda, the traditional system of medicine from India. Ashwagandha promotes balance in the body. It is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body successfully adapt to stressful conditions. It is also called ‘withania somnifera’ due to its high concentration in withanolides which directly affect the production of cortisol, also called the stress hormone. Due to its balancing and relaxing effects, it will improve your sleep quality and may help with the treatment of insomnia.

Oil - Persea gratissima

A natural by-product, it comes from the pressed pulp of the avocado. The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and increase collagen metabolism. The fatty acids are key for regenerating, rebuilding, and giving it a bouncy boost. The high dose of phytosterols (plant compounds) in the oil help to prevent loss of moisture and keep skin hydrated, and the antioxidants will work to neutralise free radicals that attack skin cells.

L-Arginine

It is an amino acid which sustains the immune system by acting on the intestine wall: it impedes the adhesion of leucocytes to the lining of the endothelium and stimulates their phagocytic functions. Arginine also improves wound healing.

Emulsifying agent promoting the formation of intimate mixtures between immiscible liquids by altering the interfacial tension (water and oil). It is also a surfactant reducing the surface tension of cosmetics and contributes to the uniform distribution of the product when used.

Seed oil - Camelina sativa

Camelina oil, also known as “gold of pleasure oil,” originated in the Mediterranean region, stretching eastward to Central Asia. It has a balanced fatty-acid profile with an alpha-Linolenic-acid content of up to 40%, and its proportion of omega-3 fatty acids is among the highest across all plants. Its high natural vitamin E content makes it a very nourishing oil that helps keep the skin elastic, moisturized and protected.

Emulsion stabilizer promoting the emulsion process and improves emulsion stability and shelf life.

Seed extract - Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn.

Milk thistle is a plant containing silymarin, a potent active for eliminating toxins. Silymarin is an antioxidant that protects the liver from the free radical damage produced by alcohol, junkfood or medicine such as paracetamol and even some anti cancerous chemotherap). It also holds free radicals in check in order to limit inflammation.

Original Extracts TM - Vaccinium macrocarpon

Obtained through gentle extraction processes that preserve the plant's active ingredients, cranberry extract has anti-oxidant properties on the skin. Indeed, cranberries contain a high level of 2 types of vitamin E (tocotrienols and tocopherols) which are antioxidants that protect the skin from environmental aggressions and prevent and reduce wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and dullness.

Fruit extract - Rosa canina L.

Rosehips are the bright scarlet fruits of the wild dog rose (Rosa canina), often seen dotting hedgerows in late summer and autumn. This small but potent fruit is naturally full of antioxidant vitamins (vitamins A, C and E), minerals and oligo elements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulphur, zinc and iron) which make it an essential ally to boost your daily vitality. Depending on its species, rosehip’s natural vitamin C content can be up to 500 to 5000mg for 100gr of fruit, which is 10 to 100 times more than citrus fruit. It also contains high quantities of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which are essential for metabolic health. Used on a daily basis, rosehip strengthens your skin, nails and hair.

Aqua

Binary chemical substance composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, without color, odor and taste, occurring naturally in the liquid, solid or aeriform state.

Sugar ester

Sugar ester is a vegetable-based emulsifier with moisturizing properties that creates oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. It is also used as a co-emulsifier or as an ingredient in emulsifying gels/bases for use in the manufacture of home creams etc. Creams and lotions can be made for all skin types, especially normal, combination, oily and sensitive skin.

Eugenol is a member of the allylbenzene class of compounds. It is a pale yellow oily liquid extracted from certain essential oils, especially clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. It is hardly soluble in water and soluble in organic solvents. It has a pleasant clove odor.

Seed oil - Rubus idaeus

Raspberry seed oil is rich in EFAs (essential fatty acids), primarily linoleic and linolenic acids. It contains very high levels of tocopherols (Vitamin E), which act as antioxidants, and carotenoids (Vitamin A). Tocopherols (Vitamin E) and Carotenoids (Vitamin A) stimulate collagen production, cell repair and improve the appearance of damaged skin. It is also a perfect oil to prepare your skin for sun exposure as it has the ability to absorb UV rays.

Geraniol is a monoterpenoid and an alcohol. It makes up most of the essential oils of roses and citronella. It is also found in small amounts in geraniums, lemons and other essential oils. It has a pinkish odor, so it is commonly used in perfumes.

Myristic acid sugar, found in nutmeg as a 75% glyceride ester, trimyristin, also found in animal and vegetable fats, butter, coconut and palm oil, is used for the synthesis of flavorings and ingredients for soaps and cosmetics.

L-Glutamine

Glutamine is an important amino acid with many functions in the body. It is a building block of protein and critical part of the immune system. It is a critical fuel source for immune cells, including white blood cells and certain intestinal cells. However, its level can decrease due to major injuries, burns or surgeries. If the body’s need for glutamine is greater than its ability to produce it, your body may break down protein stores, such as muscle, to release more of this amino acid. Additionally, the function of the immune system can be compromised when insufficient amounts of glutamine are available.

Glycerin is a clear viscous liquid obtained by hydrolysis of mixed fats and oils found in foods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It is a substance with a neutral sweet taste, which has a high boiling point and forms a thick rubbery paste when frozen.

Gellan gum (E-418) is a food additive and like other additives used in the avant-garde cuisine we have seen, it is of vegetable origin, in this case it is used as a stabilizer, thickener and/or gelling agent.

Xanthan gum or xanthan gum is a thickener derived from the fermentation of corn starch. It is a powerful thickener and effective food stabilizer (foams, emulsions, ice creams, etc.).

Seed oil - Punica granatum

The pomegranate seed oil we use is extracted through a cold pressing process that preserves the nutrients. The main powerful plant compound present in pomegranate seed oil is called punicic acid, comprising close to 70% of the oil’s chemical composition. It is an omega 5 fatty acid that reduces skin inflammation and aids in skin repair. Punicic acid is also an effective hydrant, preventing moisture loss through strengthening the skin’s outer dermal layers.

Original Extracts TM - Prunus cerasus

Obtained by gentle extraction processes that preserve the plant's active ingredients, cherry extract has revitalizing properties on the skin. This extract has a stimulating effect on fibroblasts and collagen production.

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose

Hypromellose (INN), short for hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), is an inert, viscoelastic cellulose ether in oral drug excipients or as a food additive.
As a food additive, hypromellose is an emulsifier, thickener and suspending agent, and an alternative to animal gelatin.

The sodium hyaluronate is the salt of the hyaluronic acid. This active ingredient is appreciated for its hydrating and plumping action on the skin. It is a natural component of the connective tissue. It easily penetrates the epidermis and is then able to fix a strong quantity of water, up to 20 times its weight. For this reason, it is found in many cosmetics such as anti-aging care, moisturizers or foundation ...

Seed oil - Simmondsia chinensis

Jojoba oil is the liquid produced from the seed of the Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) plant. It is a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids. Since it is similar in composition to the skin's own natural oils, it is quickly absorbed and is excellent for dry and mature skin, as well as inflammation.
It has many other benefits such as:
- Regulates the skin’s PH levels, balancing sebum secretion
- Acts as a barrier for skin, protecting it from harsh elements and promoting its natural healing
- Softens and smoothes the skin helping with fine line reduction

Seed oil - Aleurites moluccanus

Kukui nut oil is a semi-clear to light yellow oil that is cold pressed from seeds of the Aleurites Moluccans tree, often referred to as the candlenut tree. Kukui Nut Oil is a great source of oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid),linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), 29% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid) as well as vitamins C, D and E. Kukui nut oil is easily absorbed by the deepest layers of the skin and forms a protective barrier that protects against environmental damage. Its high antioxidant content also boosts collagen production and promotes the sloughing of dead skin cells to create space for new cells.

Derived from lauric acid, an emollient that provides a soft and silky feel. 

Radish root ferment filtrate - Leuconostoc

Leucidal Liquid is a broad spectrum antibacterial and antifungal preservative, accepted by ECO-CERT. It prevents the growth of bacteria, yeasts and molds in homemade cosmetics containing aqueous phase.

Selenium is an antioxidant trace element that is involved in the metabolism of free radicals and other substances produced by the oxidation of lipids in cell membranes. It also plays a role in the metabolism of the liver and contributes to the maintenance of skeletal and cardiac muscles and spermatozoids.

Limonene is a fragrance ingredient for its citrus aroma. In the food industry it is used for its aroma or in the manufacture of flavorings. It is also used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Seed oil - Linum usitatissimum

Linseed is a good source of manganese, vitamin B1, and magnesium, but is also a major powerhouse when it comes to omega-3 fatty acids. Linseed is also high in “lignans,” a type of phytoestrogen. Omega-3 fatty acids help your skin stay smooth and hydrated, while the lignans help reconstruct broken blood vessels and skin cells, and antioxidants protect the skin from free radicals and UV rays. This results in skin that is hydrated, moist, and smooth, thereby reducing the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness.

Linalool

Linalool is a terpene with an alcohol group whose natural form is common in many flowers and aromatic plants. Its floral odor, with a hint of menthol, has given it some value for use in aromatic products.

Powder - Lithothamnium calcareum

Lithothamnium calcareum is a red algae of the Corallinaceae family, found in colonies on the shallow sea floor (10 to 60 meters). It is found in Brittany, England, Norway, Iceland and the Mediterranean Sea.  Sometimes called Merl or Maer, this algae is naturally very rich in minerals and trace elements. The trace elements have an important role on the body. Lithothamnion alone concentrates 19 trace elements, which makes it an important source of trace elements. Today, our food brings an exaggerated dose of acid to the body (fat, sweets, coffee...). At the same time, we suffer from many deficiencies in vitamins and trace elements, which prevents an efficient neutralization and transformation of these acids. Indeed, in order to mitigate and neutralize the aggression of acids, our body needs vitamins and trace elements. The deficiencies that we undergo force our body to draw from its reserves of mineral bases, which leads to a significant demineralization of our body. Lithothamnium fills these losses thanks to the mineral substances it contains and allows a complete remineralization in the individual.

Seed oil - Macadamia integrifolia

Macadamia nut oil contains extremely high levels of beneficial fatty acids. Its high content of linoleic acid restores the skin’s “barrier function”, preventing water loss, infiltration of toxins, and environmental skin damage. This enables skin to stay hydrated and healthy, appearing younger and smoother. It also contains a lesser known fatty acid, palmiteloic acid, of the omega 7 family, which is particularly effective in the delay of premature aging in skin. Palmitoleic acid reverses the appearance of this dry, tight skin, and there is even some evidence that it can assist in helping repair damaged skin cells. It is very moisturizing and perfect for dry, sensitive skin.

Magnesium oxyde

Magnesium is a critical component in more than 300 biochemical reactions between cells, neurones, neurotransmitters, blood, oxygen, muscles and nerves. It is an essential mineral to the body’s correct functioning. Low levels of magnesium are a leading cause of stress, irritability, fatigue and overall emotional burnout. It is critical to ensure a sufficient daily intake of magnesium and to make sure of its bioavailability so that it is properly absorbed by your body.

Helps to emulsify and improve emulsion strength. A plant-based carbohydrate that also acts as a moisturizer.

Seed butter - Mangifera indica

Mango butter is cold pressed from the fruit’s interior edible seed. It is very rich in phytosterols, potent antioxidants, that help fight ageing by stimulating collagen production. Mango butter’s high Vitamin C content brightens, firms and plumps the skin.

Extracted oil, Omega 3 - Schizochytrium sp. (lait)

A micro algae that is especially riche in Omega 3 fatty acids, namely in DHA and EPA , and that is completely devoid of pollutants. Our body requires a certain level of DHA for cell renewal and to reinforce the membranes that protect our organs. Although the body does produce DHA naturally, it rarely satisfies all our needs. It is therefore essential to offset this deficiency by taking a daily DHA dietary supplement. DHA is a structural component of your skin. It is responsible for the health of cell membranes, which make up a large part of your skin. A healthy cell membrane results in soft, moist, supple and wrinkle-free skin. EPA greatly benefits skin by regulating oil production to boost hydration and prevent acne, and by delaying the skins aging process to stave off wrinkles. A 2005 study in the Journal of Lipid Research discovered that EPA can help block the release of the UV-induced enzymes that eat away at our collagen, causing lines and sagging skin. Because EPA is both an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory agent, it can protect against sun damage and help repair it. 

Seed oil - Vaccinium myrtillus

Blueberry seed oils contain a particularly high omega-3-6-9 fatty acid profile, providing a natural method of protection against free radical damage. Oils high in oleic acid (omega-9) permeate skin layers without disordering other fatty acids and are therefore absorbed well by the skin. Together with omega-3, blueberry seed oil locks in moisture incredibly well.

Fruit extract - Citrus aurantium dulcis

Obtained by flash distillation a method that preserves the plant's actives, orange extract has clarifying properties for the skin. It is a natural source of fruit acids that refine the skin’s texture and brightens the complexion.

Fragrances are synthetic components created in laboratories, imitating nature. Essential oils are natural components extracted from plants by various methods, but especially by steam distillation.

Pentylene glycol is a synthetic compound belonging to the chemical group called 1,2-glycol. It has two alcohol groups attached to the first and second carbon.  It is a clear, slightly viscous, colorless, odorless, water-soluble liquid. It is also naturally derived from sugar cane. It is also oil soluble and is used in many cosmetic products.

Leaf extract - Plantago lanceolata

Plantago lanceolata, also known as "Plantain", is a perennial plant with oval, spearhead-shaped and ribbed leaves. Growing naturally in Eurasia, the Plantain is easily adapted and has established itself on all continents. One of the most popular herbs in history, Plantain was used in ancient times to treat headaches and as an antidote against venom. Recent studies have confirmed its healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

May be irritating to individuals with very sensitive skin. Naturally improves the skin's water retention capacity and enhances hydration. 

Dry extract of aerial part - Houttunya cordata

Native to South East Asia, Chameleon Plant contains polyphenols, potent compounds high in antioxidant activity that battle free radicals. Free radicals damage other compounds, cells, and DNA and research has linked free radicals to aging, cancer, and many other ills. Chameleon Plant has been billed as an excellent free radical scavenger and helps neutralize circulating free radicals. In addition, research has shown that Chameleon Plant may help support the immune system by stimulating the production of lymphocytes, white blood cells that are crucial for the body’s natural defence system.

Seed extract - Vitis vinifera

Cell oxidation is a natural mechanism in the human body. However, certain situations can speed up this process by causing oxidative stress. Grapeseed extract has been the subject of numerous clinical studies demonstrating its health benefits:

It contains potent antioxidants called oligo-proanthocyanides. These act like a barrier against free radicals. Different tests have shown that they are more powerful than classic antioxidants such as vitamins, C and E. However, research has shown that oligo-proanthocyanides can, when used in combination, maximise the effect of vitamin C. A clinical study has analysed the effect of grapeseed extract on the oxidative stress caused by tobacco use. Results show that tobacco contributes to the breakdown of cell DNA. Nonetheless, the simultaneous use of vitamins C, E and grapeseed extract can reduce oxidative damages as well as apoptosis by 10 to 85%.

Root extract - Rhodiola rosea L.

Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body adapt to stress in a healthy, productive way. Our Siberian Rhodiola rosea supports the functioning of the adrenal glands and encourages a healthy response to physical, emotional and mental stress by supporting cortisol levels and other stress-related hormones. Rhodiola is a powerful herb with many clinical studies touting its effects on concentration and cognitive function.

Flowers extract - Spiraea ulmaria flower extract

The use of the meadowsweet for therapeutic purposes is very old: it was part of the sacred plants of the druids. It is its ancient name "spiraea ulmaria" which gave its name to aspirin. But apart from its anti-inflammatory virtues, meadowsweet has very interesting properties for the skin. Indeed, thanks to its high flavonoid content, it has anti-oxidant properties and its anti-inflammatory action soothes and relieves irritated skin.

Leaf extract - Rosmarinus officinalis

Rosemary is a very effective natural stimulant. Indeed, it detoxifies the body, tones the liver, reduces stress, calms rheumatic disorders, bloating, stomach cramps.

Fruit powder - Schisandra chinensis

Schizandra is one of the plants that are described as adaptogenic. This concept refers to its ability to re-harmonize the body as a whole. The berries contain active ingredients that can be adapted to the body's needs. As a general rule, the body is more resistant to stress, whether physical or emotional, and adapts better to particular situations. For example, schisandra berries help the body adjust to temperature changes. The body offers a better and faster response against sudden environmental changes (jetlag, from cold to heat, etc.). It also ensures a better mental and physical well-being.
In China, schizandra is often prescribed to treat liver problems. This is in line with its protective virtues for the main organs of the human body (heart, lungs, kidneys, brain). Studies have confirmed its hepatoprotective benefits. Among them, we note the work of Dr. Hikano who was able to highlight the existence of two lignans that can transform intestinal bacteria into substances capable of stopping the development of cancerous cells. In addition, these hormone-like substances are able to neutralize lipid peroxidation, which is sometimes the cause of liver damage. In 2013, clinical studies show that the consumption of schizandra leads to a decrease in liver enzymes (AST and ALT) that are often correlated with liver disorders.

Leaf extract - amellia sinensis

Thanks to extensive research at universities around the world and advances in scientific research, we know exactly what the health benefits of catechins are. Green tea rich in catechins is a powerful anti-oxidant. It helps to regulate the absorption of fats by the body and promotes weight loss. Research has shown that catechins can stop the proliferation of viruses, germs and thus protect our body against a wide range of diseases. Gargling with tea may even prevent the common cold. Some studies claim that catechins prevent baldness and slow down the progression of certain cancers. Nevertheless, more research is needed to confirm these results.

Leaf extract - Rosa alba

This vegetal cell evens and brightens your complexion while diminishing uneven skin pigmentation. Its extract has a dual action: protecting the skin from external stress by improving cellular oxygenation and supporting the natural mechanisms that maintain radiance by regulating keratinocyte and melanocyte activity.

Petal powder - Rosa centifolia L.

Pale rose is known for its revitalising and healing properties. It is particularly effective against acne, rosacea and other dermatological problems.

Stigma extract - Crocus sativus L.

Saffron has a direct impact on the central nervous system. Saffron has traditionally been used as a mood stabiliser for centuries as it balances brain neurotransmitters, such as serotonin (the feel good hormone). Low serotonin levels lead people to feel unusually irritable or down for no apparent reason. Saffron’s sedative properties are essential for treating sleep disorders that are often linked to depression.

Silica

Removes impurities from the body surface, stimulates wound healing and relieves itching.

Retains moisture and reduces water loss from the skin. Squalene can convert free radicals into molecular oxygen and thus protect the skin.

Fruit extract - Caesalpinia Spinosa

Tara (Caesalpinia spinosa) is a small leguminous tree that is native to the Peruvian Andes and which tolerates dry climates and poor soils. Tara’s fruits are called pods and are used in traditional medicine to treat infections and to improve healing. They are very rich in hydrolysable tannins with gallic acid as the main constituent.
