Siberian rhodiola

Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body adapt to stress in a healthy, productive way. Our Siberian Rhodiola rosea supports the functioning of the adrenal glands and encourages a healthy response to physical, emotional and mental stress by supporting cortisol levels and other stress-related hormones. Rhodiola is a powerful herb with many clinical studies touting its effects on concentration and cognitive function.

Rosehip

Rosehips are the bright scarlet fruits of the wild dog rose (Rosa canina), often seen dotting hedgerows in late summer and autumn.  This small but potent fruit is naturally full of antioxidant vitamins (vitamins A, C and E), minerals and oligo elements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulphur, zinc and iron) which make it an essential ally to boost your daily vitality. Depending on its species, rosehip’s natural vitamin C content can be up to 500 to 5000mg for 100gr of fruit, which is 10 to 100 times more than citrus fruit. It also contains high quantities of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which are essential for metabolic health. Used on a daily basis, rosehip strengthens your skin, nails and hair.

Vitamin B1

Vitamin B1, or thiamine, enables the body to use carbohydrates as energy. It is essential for the digestion of glucose, and it plays a key role in nerve, muscle, and heart function. It is an essential component for energy metabolism. As vitamin B1 is water-soluble, it cannot be stored in the body. Humans therefore need a continuous supply of vitamin B1, and it needs to be part of the daily diet.

Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2, or riboflavin, is an easily absorbed, water-soluble micronutrient with a key role in maintaining human health. Like the other B vitamins, it supports energy production by aiding in the metabolizing of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Vitamin B2 is also required for red blood cell formation and respiration, antibody production, and for regulating human growth and reproduction. It is essential for healthy skin, nails, hair growth and general good health, including regulating thyroid activity.

Vitamin B3

Vitamin B3, or niacin, has a wide range of uses in the body, helping functions in the digestive system, skin and nervous system. It helps the body break down carbohydrates, fats and proteins into energy and plays a role in gland and liver function.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is involved in producing red blood cells, maintaining a healthy nervous system, and converting food to energy. It also helps to regulate the immune system and mood, and control levels of the amino acid homocysteine, elevated levels of which are associated with heart disease. Nearly 1 in 10 people in the US are deficient in B12, and more people get less than the FDA recommends. B12 deficiency can cause tiredness, constipation, nerve problems, and other issues. If you are low on B12, consider supplementation. It is generally found in animal foods, so if you are vegetarian or vegan, you may not be getting enough of it. Older adults and people with certain health conditions have trouble absorbing B12, which can also lead to deficiency.

Good to know

A TITRATED EXTRACT is a plant extract in which the concentration of the active ingredient is guaranteed.

OVERDOING IT ON YOUR DAILY INTAKE of vitamins and mineral is of no use as everything your body doesn’t need is flushed out when you urinate. However, if your dietary supplements are under dosed then your body is not receiving the adequate quantity to function well. That is why we dosed all our supplements to cover 100% of your DVs (daily value) as recommended by the World Health Organization.

When RHODIOLA ROSEA is dosed at less than 100mg it is useless. Its optimal efficiency is when there is at least 220mg. The exceptional properties of Rhodiola Rosea from Siberia are due to its hight levels of rosavin, rosarin and colophane.  It is the only Rhodiola, unlike the ones sourced from China, to possess all 3 rosavin strains thereby guaranteeing its strength and efficacy.
